Fill out the video audition google form and submit a video file or link to video of you singing about a verse and chorus of a song with NO TRACK – just your voice!
If you would rather audition live, stop by D104 at nutrition or lunch and be prepared to sing the verse and chorus of any song.

Coro Real (Per 3 Chorus)
- Why should I take it?
- Get your VPA/elective credit with no homework!
- No audition required
- No outside of class time, no extra rehearsals…just come and sing during class
- Really fun class, karaoke, musicals
- Improve your ear, make you a better musician, producer, etc!
- I am nervous to sing in front of other people…
- You never have to sing alone!
- No school performances
- You don’t carol or do Valentine’s Grams – those are other groups!
- What kind of music do we sing?
- You help choose the songs
- Popular music, songs you know
- Learn how to sing in harmony!
Encantado (Per 4 Choir)
- Why should I take it?
- Go to Magic Mountain, festivals, and other special events
- Go caroling around school and in the community
- Flexible practice times, no extra rehearsals…you can easily also do sports/other activities
- Learn to sight read, make you a better musician, producer, etc!
- We work hard and play hard
- I am nervous to audition in front of other people…
- Women, Camerata is filled from this group, so you need to join this group first if you want Camerata
- If you audition live, it is only in front of Mrs. Brennan

- What kind of music do we sing?
- Contemporary genres of choral singing – musical numbers, jazz, barbershop, a cappella
- Some classical for festival and to prepare for Camerata
- 3 to 6 parts in a score
Camerata (Per 5 Vocal Ensemble)
- Why should I take it?
- TRAVEL – Planning on either New York or Disney World for next school year
- Go to Magic Mountain, festivals, and other special events
- Go caroling around school and in the community
- Flexible practice times, no extra rehearsals…you can easily also do sports/other activities
- Learn to sight read, make you a better musician, producer, etc!
- We work hard and play hard
- I am nervous to audition in front of other people…
- We need male singers always, and we can help you improve, so try out even if you aren’t super confident!

- What kind of music do we sing?
- Very challenging classical, folk, and world music, with a little contemporary mixed in
- One major choral work for travel
- 4 to 10 parts in a score
